Yamaguchi Yuki, born in Fukushima Prefecture, has worked as an editor publishing translations of graphic novels. Her Japanese translation of Madgermanes (ENG. Mad Germans, JP. Maddo Jāmanzu) was selected as a recommended work by the jury of the Manga Division of the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival, sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. She has also worked on La Différence invisible (ENG. Invisible Differences, JP. Mienai chigai), recipient of the Newcomer Award, and The Arab of the Future (Mirai no Arabujin), recipient of the Excellence Awards at the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival. After working at a cultural institution, Yuki now works as the international rights manager at HERO’S, home to the work Rooster Fighter which has been translated and published in over 50 countries worldwide.
