木下 いたる

Kinoshita Itaru graduated from San Francisco State University’s School of Cinema in 2012. He made his manga debut with Giganto o ute (Attack the Gigante, KODANSHA) in 2018. His manga about a dinosaur park, Dinosan (published in English as Dinosaur Sanctuary by Seven Seas Entertainment), is currently being serialized by Shinchosha. Dinosan volumes 1 through 9 are currently on sale in Japanese with volume 8 of the English edition planned for a July 2026 publication. The series has garnered much attention, including being listed in the Next Manga Award’s comics category in 2023. In 2024, Dinosaur Sanctuary was nominated for Best Continuing Manga Series at the American Manga Awards. In 2026, it came in 8^th place for the “Manga We Want to See Animated” contest. Based in the world of Dinosaur Sanctuary, Kinoshita also made a children’s book titled Dinosan ehon kyoryuen e iko (Let’s Go to Dinoland! – A Dinosaur Sanctuary Book).

As part of the MINT Project in 2025, Kinoshita made a guest appearance at Anime Expo where he took part in autograph sessions, a live drawing, and talk events. Additional autograph sessions were also held at Kinokuniya and Barnes & Noble. After Anime Expo, he went to San Francisco for a talk at California College of the Arts as part of their “Comics in the City” event. His favorite dinosaurs are Giganotosaurus and Psittacosaurus.
