NewsMINT Project Participants Set to Appear at Various Events in NY and the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF)

The MINT Project hosts several manga events and exhibitions in North America in alliance with its goal to support early career manga artists, and their editors, with an aim of achieving a global presence and promoting the value of manga’s diversity overseas. 

In addition to the events last July that took place at Anime Expo in California, as well as the event at Cartoon Crossroads Columbus in Ohio, MINT will continue its efforts at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) in Canada. 

The lineup for TCAF includes several talk events and signings featuring MINT creators. The official poster for the event was even illustrated by our very own Battan-sensei!

In addition to our participation at TCAF, MINT will also be participating in a special event titled: “Alternative Manga Showcase and Reception” at the Japan Foundation in Toronto. 

Outside of the events in Toronto, MINT creators will also make appearances throughout NYC as part of “Japanese Manga in New York City,” where they will participate in a total of four events.
